# Hero NFTs

To use your hero NFT, you will need to do a few things on the Pixel War website:

![Connecting Pixel War to Twitter and Discord](/files/9C4tr4ns1NuIeiGaWsSM)

### Connect to Discord:

1. Clicking **`Sign in with Discord`** will send you to Discord to authenticate.

### Connect to Twitter

Follow the same steps, but it will be a Twitter authorization screen.

### Set Default Hero

**IMPORTANT:** To set your default hero, that hero **must** claim its initial items. A naked hero cannot be set as a default hero (and therefore cannot be used on Discord.)

To select a default hero click on it and then sign the setting to confirm.

Your default hero will have a box around it:

Your default hero will be used for Twitter battles and when you[ import hero on discord](/discord/connect-your-hero-nft.md).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.pixelwar.com/nfts/hero-nfts.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
