Errat

Formerly the illustrious “Golden Kingdom”, Errat now serves as a humbling reminder that one’s fortune is not to be taken for granted, and that one should always remember to honor the gods. Errat is located next to the formerly bountiful Mt. Errat, but since the eruption which decimated the great kingdom, Mt. Errat has remained an ominously quiet geological shadow which looms over the Western peninsula. There were few survivors of the cataclysmic eruption, but those who did survive are said to have relocated, settling in the Cavernous Cliffs and forming small tribes which eventually founded the refugee nation of Bhiessia. There is rumored to be a passage inside the Golden Castle which allegedly connects to Naul’s Shrine, which is located in the mountain of its namesake. The Hellgate is located in the area of the Under which is just below where Errat exists in the Overlands, and the Eye of Ganeath is located somewhere on the Western peninsula, near the ashen kingdom of Errat. The area is inhabited by wildlife, elementals, and undead creatures, though in recent times, as activity has increased in the hellscapes, demonic creatures have begun spewing forth from the Eye, surveilling the environment.
